The Walkers | Studio Sessions

The Walkers | Studio Sessions

When family comes together.

Over the weekend I had the Walker ladies in house, for an updated mother/daughter studio session. The girls were so easy to work with and I was quite impressed with Joanne’s youngest, whom I discovered… has a mutual interest in animals (particularly dogs, our declared favourite). Apparently this little lady wants to be a vet when she’s older and even has her own ponies at home! I might have to pay a visit.

When the Walker clan arrived, we started off with a little introduction – basically a ‘who I am‘ and ‘what I want to get out of session‘ talk. I find that this is a really great way of breaking the ice, discovering what my client wants and also making sure that they are comfortable before I get to work on making their ideas a reality.

Joanne’s main request from this session, were sibling portraits – which I think is one of the best ways at capturing personalities and bonds between relatives. We also included mum/me and family portraits, combined with a few silly faces – because sometimes you just have to stick your tongue out and have a laugh.

While on session, we included Joanne’s sister Samantha and her niece – whom might I add, really put the cute in ‘pretty smile‘, ‘cheese‘ and ‘donkey‘. I would certainly have them back again.

Studio sessions start from ¬£95 and can be booked all year round. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact me on Facebook or by email at: rebecca.ellis@live.co.uk
